At the origin of Renne
Marcela Pulido Muñoz’s story with Renne began before the restaurant existed. During the pandemic, she and Carlos Renne Cure Lemaitre turned their home into a testing ground for the idea of gourmet empanadas.
Through recipes, tastings and shared decisions, that exploration led them to seek chef Miguel Ángel Castillo Basto’s guidance and opened a possibility none of them had foreseen at the beginning.
A shared story
Marcela is part of the story that brought Carlos and Miguel together around a new idea: leaving the original project behind and building a Peruvian restaurant.
Her place on the leadership team preserves the connection between the project’s family origins and the story Renne continues to write.
